Mike Bean Cards Back to Souvenir Cards
Mike Bean, who is retired from the BEP, has demonstrated the Spider Press at many stamp and coin shows.
Mike has also printed many Union cards, as well as
the Souvenir Card Collector Society annual member cards.
These lovely intaglio engraved vignettes are done in very limited quantities, normally 100-200 prints each.
Most of these images have appeared on stamp and coin show cards, as well as International Plate Printer's,
Die Stamper's, and Engraver's Union cards. These engraved vignettes are very suitable for framing. Like

Eagle used on FUN 2007
Jumbo eagle, an even larger version of the same design appeared on
the Plate Printer's Union card F1985d. A smaller version of the
same design appeared on the rare Bureau of Engraving 1984
set of 3 issued in the same color. This vignette measures
4 3/4 x 3 3/4" and is printed on a 10 x 8" card, and available in
dark blue, dark brown, or dark green, each 5.00
