John Deacons is making glassware in the tradition of the Ysart family who initiated the production of this style of glassware

in Scotland.

John Deacons double overlay magnum made in 2008. The interior is a large blue carpet with 11 complex canes and a flash red ground. The overlay is red over white with the red starting a deep cranberry at the top of the weight and fading gradually to an almost pink-red color at the base. The weight has 11 concave facets with one of the complex canes showing at or near the center of each window. The center bullseye cane and first ring of 5 complex canes are all viewable from the top facet. Base carries 2008 signature cane. This weight measures just over 3.75 inches across and just under 2.5 inches tall. $395.00
